Accord offers Braided Packings; Sheet Packings, Rubber Packings, and Flange Gaskets.
Braided compression packings are available in PTFE, Non-Asbestos, Carbon, Graphite, Aramid, and Flax Ramie fibers. PTFE Braided Packings are high flexibility allowing it to conform to stuffing box conditions, less friction equals less wear and less heat generation, better heat transmission for cooler operation, lower shrinkage, providing improved sealing during operation, and less relaxation making for less maintenance and/or repair. Non-Asbestos, Carbon, and Graphite Fibers offer chemical resistance, heat conductivity, thermal stability, corrosion inhibitors, and self-lubricating with low friction for high peripheral speed.
Sheet packings are stocked in a variety of materials ranging from Non-asbestos, PTFE, Graphite, Vegetable Fiber, Mica, and Cork/Neoprene in various widths, thicknesses, and lengths 59″ x 59″ or 59″ x 118″ sheets.
Rubber sheet packings are available in Buna-N, Neoprene, Red, Pure Gum (Live) Rubber, and Closed Cell Sponge. Rubber sheet packing is typically usually sold in 36″ or 48″ wide rolls and cut to specific lengths. Sheet packings are stocked in a variety of materials ranging from Non-asbestos, PTFE, Graphite, Vegetable Fiber, Mica, and Cork/Neoprene in various widths, lengths, and thicknesses, sold in 60″ x 120″ x 60 sheets. Rubber sheet packings are available in Buna-N, Neoprene, Red, Pure Gum (Live) Rubber, and Closed Cell Sponge usually sold in 36″ or 48″ wide rolls and cut to specific lengths, rubber strip packing is available in various compounds, widths, and durometers. Accord’s cuts/stocks Standard ANSI 150 lb. and Metric JIS/DIN flange gaskets in Non-Asbestos, PTFE, Vegetable fiber, Neoprene, etc. in 1/16″ and 1/8″ thickness. Spiral wound gaskets, woven PTFE gasket tape, All-Valve, Expanded PTFE Valve Stem packing; metric and standard o-rings, o-ring kits, and o-ring cord; fiberglass cloth, tapes, ropes; and packing cutter, switchboard matting, anti-fatigue matting are common items supplied.
